Industry 4.0 can be defined as the fusion between the production process of products or services and information and communications technologies. They include: cloud and Internet things computing, collaborative robotics and cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence, data mining, additive manufacturing, augmented reality and simulation. However, its implementation does not guarantee success and economic profitability; it requires a cultural and organizational transformation and reengineering based on the incorporation of innovation into traditional business models. This work proposes to develop the conceptual foundations that state the theoretical bases for the identification of the value creation capabilities offered by Industry 4.0 technologies and to propose an instrument for evaluating the impact of the new paradigm on business models. of local SMEs. They identify the requirements of the type of technology, the specific actions it brings, the added value and the contribution of innovation to the business model, as a conceptual approach to generate a transformation process towards a new organizational structure. A study tool is developed with the proposal of a guide to analyze the level of progress in the industrial digitalization process with an eye on the innovation of the value chain based on digitalization. If you select a show from five SMEs from the towns of Colón and Concordia and you will create entertainment. As a result, an analysis of the applicability of the proposed conceptual framework in the regional industrial context of Industry 4.0 technologies and its impact on the business model is presented.
