Abstract

The Research Team, a member of the Industrial Engineering Career - Faculty of Engineering - Universidad del Salvador (USAL), has been working on projects related to the study of efficiency, productivity and quality, in the productive sphere of the SME sector, which It has allowed us to corroborate that both the quality management tools and the techniques for measuring Non-Quality Costs are little used, and that the Improvement Programs implemented decay considerably before reaching their maturity; mainly due to the lack of a simple application model that allows the identification of the Costs of Poor Quality (COPQ ) in order to then act efficiently to reduce them.
It is therefore. This work proposes to study, define and formulate a Cost Contrast Model, based on the Standard Unitary Consumption of resources to be used in the production of goods versus the Resulting Unitary Consumption of the resources used.
Our presentation considers incorporating the "Modelling of Key Performance Indicators to Apply to Continuous Improvement Processes in SMEs" (presented at COINI 2022). That is based on the Causal Efficacy Analysis and the use of Balanced Indicators between Effectors and Inducers that ensure both the measurement of the deviation and the adoption of adequate remediation.
The literature that deals with this will be analyzed, its applicability to our SME reality will be determined, and a simple application tool model for the productive field will be described that facilitates both the visualization of the COPQ, as well as the causes that originate them, which will allow to face selective actions of Continuous Improvement tending to reduce and eventually eliminate them.
