Abstract

This article pretends to offer a solution to the energetic problema that presents the so call isolated áreas in Sothern Patagonia without power line energy. This solution suggest the instalation og a low power windturbine, supervised by a control station, using Power Line Communications, knowing that the present climate conditions may produce damage to structures and conexions. From the different techniques associated with Power Line Communication, the KNX protocol was chosen, because of the robustness that the protocol presents. Finally the present article shows a simulation of the phisical layer of the proposed communication using Simulink to evaluate it behaviour. Using this information, its factible to use this protocol in the present case.
