VI Interdisciplinary Conference on Advanced Image and Signal Analysis - JIAAIS 2022

Abstract

The Interdisciplinary Conference on Advanced Image and Signal Analysis (JIAAIS in Spanish) has been held unin-terruptedly since 2016, with the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19. Institutions such as the National Technological University Buenos Aires Regional Faculty, the Technological Institute of Buenos Aires, the National University of General Sarmiento and the Federal University of Alagoas (Alagoas, Brazil). The success obtained in the exchange of knowledge of current research topics in the area shows the advantages of con-vening this type of meetings between peers, motivating the participation of undergraduate and graduate students. The JIAAIS offer a networking and communication opportunity for both researchers and students, whose work is related to image processing and analysis, signals and video, computer graphics, computer vision, visualization and related topics, enter stay in touch with the latest developments in the area and explore possibilities for collaboration with different groups from Argentina and abroad. During these sessions, international and national specialists are invited to give talks on current research topics in the area.

In this way, the JIAAIS allow the participation of specialists, researchers in training and undergraduate and graduate students, in different activities, enabling a synergistic effect within the Argentine community of researchers in the field of Image Processing, Signal Processing and Computer Vision. The main objective is to share and discuss new ideas, techniques and experiences, as well as consolidate links between different work groups.
