Abstract

A case study of the main board of the company specialized in the production, marketing and distribution of high quality products for use in veterinary medicine is presented in terms of Arc Flash is presented, seeing within its parameters, how the maximum and minimum current values for the moment of failure in said board affect the disruptive energy generated and consequently the losses or damages that may occur. For this purpose, an introduction and a development on what an Arc Flash study is, how the electric arc affects the operator and the facilities, the rules that are governed for said study according to the country, to finally see the variables that influence Arc Flash, being for this study the current values of great importance.
