Resistance tests in solid culture media of autochthonous bacterial colonies in the presence of the herbicide Kifix®

he objective of this work is to evaluate the resistance of a group of 30 bacteria to the herbicide Kifix®, previously isolated in previous works from different soil samples of a rice crop located in the town of Las Palmas, Chaco, with the purpose of identify those that have the greatest potential for biodegradation to be used in subsequent tests.
For this, the inoculation of these microorganisms was carried out using the technique of streaking in a Petri dish, using nutritive and oligotrophic culture media, dosed with increasing concentrations of the contaminant. The evaluation of the bacterial growth was carried out by means of macroscopic observations of the sowings carried out during specific periods of time.
The results obtained showed that 15 strains are capable of developing in a traditional nutrient medium and 12 in oligotrophic media with considerable concentrations of the pesticide, so it is intended to continue with the tests at higher concentrations of the agrochemical.
