Abstract

This work proposes the creation of a discretized computational model in finite volumes for pervious concrete, based on permeability data obtained from physical tests on specimens and the flow velocity produced by a design storm, with the aim of being used as a retention device for urban waste in sewer inlets. The geometry of the module is designed based on the existing infrastructure and the corresponding standards, considering the medium partially saturated and an incompressible fluid.
