Abstract

Under an analysis of the application of earth construction techniques to remigration projects, this paper studies what sort of housing is adopted by those individuals and families that migrate towards rural communities, looking to implicate the social profiles of those who move with the techniques selected for their housing. It is structured in function of three investigation fronts: soil studies on the Litoral zone of the Entre Ríos and Santa Fe provinces; constructive techniques used in earth houses, and the sociological study of those who decide to live in them. Using the data obtained by the moment; preliminary conclusions were elaborated that allow to observe, on one hand, a direct relationship between the zone’s soil and the used technique; while there is no evident correlation between the habitant’s profiles and said techniques. Nevertheless, this work is still in progress.
