Abstract

At the San Nicolás Regional Faculty of the National Technological University, the VIII National and IV Latin American Conferences on Entry and Permanence in Scientific-Technological Careers 2022, of the IPECyT Network, were held on October 12, 13 and 14, 2022. Established with the main purpose to set up a space for discussion around management issues, tutorials, curriculum development, research on teaching and learning; also for identifying difficulties, debating strategies and actions plans related to admission and permanence in scientific-technological careers.

As teachers, it is crucial to look into our daily work, sharing good practices, exchanging ideas with our peers and trying to bring the different educational levels closer with the vision of improving students’ performance, diminishing desertion and increasing accompaniment towards an increasingly accessible and equitable scientific-technological training.

Adapting to the new reality that the pandemic led us, the congress was developed in a hybrid format, the presentations were delivered not only in face to face meeting but also in virtual ones.

More than 150 participants from universities in Argentina, Chile and Brazil: professors, researchers, middle and higher-level teacher trainers, students of the last years, institutional and government managers who are part of educational management, as well as those working in tutorials systems took part in the event.
