II Conference on the Teaching of Basic Sciences (JEMB 2022)

Abstract

The Second Edition of the Conference on the Teaching of Basic Sciences (JEMB 2022): “The Fundamental sciences, the bridge between High School and University” hosted by the Basic Subjects Department of the National Technological University’s Santa Fe Regional Faculty took place on Thursday 24^th and Friday 25^th of November 2022.

Therein, experiences and research outcomes were exchanged, concerning the teaching of fundamental sciences and the bridging of High School and University. In parallel, discussions on the lectures and workshops for secondary and higher education teachers and students were conducted.

33 papers and 11 workshop proposals were submitted, 80 guests attended the conference, including lecturers, collaborators and attendees (teachers, students majoring in engineering and high school ones).

The topics addressed during the conference include:

• The linking of Secondary level with higher education.
• University’s teaching methods and practices.
• Applied Technology in Education (ATE).
• Assessment for learning and teaching.
• Linking of research with engineering education.
• Engineering applications’ projects and/or experiments.

Educational Workshop proposals for the bridging of high schools and Engineering Schools.
