Abstract

This work focuses on the design, synthesis and characterization of composite materials (polymeric and inorganic) for their application as active material in the cathodes of rechargeable lithium batteries. It is proposed, in the first step, to acquire the basic knowledge and to synthesize the composite materials with high conductivity and physical-chemical stability for their use in S/Li battery cathodes. Then its application and characterization in lithium battery prototypes at the laboratory level. This topic reaches aspects of current problems related to the generation of an experimental and theoretical capacity in the development of materials for specific uses; which aims to improve the design of these, as well as expand their knowledge and management.
