Abstract

It is known that exterior earth plasters suffer an accelerated degradation for to environmental inclemency’s (rain, wind, hail, etc.) but they are also the most suitable to be appliedon walls of the same material. The proposed doctoral thesis plan is oriented to the study of the possibilities of in-situ ceramics on the surface in an earthen plaster, in order to improve resistance, through a sustainable and appropriate procedure. Five specific objectives are proposed to be developed: the selection of the soils to be used, its adaptation to a ceramization process, thedetermination of the heat sources, the evaluation of changes in the properties and the establishment of the environmental impact associated with the process. It is relevant to mention that there are instances of control and verification of the results in real applications (experimentalwalls and / or existing constructions).
