Abstract

This work is part of a research project aimed at analyzing the implementation and monitoring of the competency-based training proposal within the framework of the curricular adjustments of the National Technological University (UTN). In this case, the results of the gradual implementation of competency-based training (CBT) and student-centered learning (SCL) plans in a third year course of the Civil Engineering program are presented. The adjustment of the planning in this course began with the definition of the contribution of generic and specific competencies of the program, in accordance with the new Curricular Design (Ord. 1853/2022) and the Civil Engineering Department of the Bahía Blanca Regional Faculty. Learning Outcomes (LO) were then outlined, from which the teaching-learning strategies and evaluation system could be designed. This paper analyzes the initial results of the proposed planning implementation.
